"Career Day": about 1,600 jobs were offered to students
On April 26 of this year, Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies held an open dialogue and a "Career Day" on the topic "Training of modern personnel, systematic support of talented young people, prospects of ensuring employment of graduates in their specialties" in order to ensure employment of students.

A total of 6,156 students are studying at the university at the same time, 6,044 bachelor's and 108 master's majors.
According to the results of the surveys, 658 students expressed their desire to work. In the current academic year, 1448 graduates in 23 bachelor's degrees, 100 graduates in master's specialties, 5 graduates. Currently, about 60 percent of the university's students are employed, including 201 students who have been employed in vacant positions based on internal opportunities.
Rector of the university, professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, opening the event with his opening speech, said that the organization of internships for students in large enterprises, organizations, clusters with stable activities of qualification practices, as well as in advanced foreign companies starting from 2022, students graduating from today's event will be able to find the profession and life path they want. he noted that it will be an important factor in his choice. Heads of employers' enterprises and organizations met with students, signed bilateral and tripartite contracts, and thanked them for their cooperation in ensuring the employment of graduates.
At the "Career Day" event, employers provided students with detailed information about the conditions created for them, qualifications and skills required for work. As a result, 380 students received employment referrals. 201 of them managed to sign the contract.
It should be noted that the university has established cooperation with more than 60 large companies, clusters and other enterprises, and it is planned to provide employment for 1500 students by the end of the year. For this purpose, "Siyob-Shavkat-Orzu" cluster, "Bukhara Karakol cluster", "Bukhara agrocluster", "Navoiy Yanyi Asr" cluster, "Zarafshon parranda Lomann" LLC, "Bogbon IN-VITRO" biotechnology laboratory, "AgroMIR" LLC , "Meva-Marakand" LLC, "Korakolchilik Uyushma", "Chorvanasl" Agency, Republic and Regions "Agromashservis" MTP LLC, "Juma Elevator" JSC, and "Kamalak Invest" clusters of cooperation memoranda were signed.
In a word, today's event was a practical expression of the state policy to further develop the integration between science, education and production, and to ensure the employment of students and young people.
