"YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR - HELPER OF THE STATE"
A meeting was held at SamSUVMLB with representatives of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the development of entrepreneurship and with students and young people who want to become entrepreneurs.
First, the guests got acquainted with the exhibition of scientific and startup projects created by professors, teachers and students of our university.
After that, the event continued in the hall of university activists, and the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, who opened the event, said that currently in our country major reforms are being implemented in the field of developing entrepreneurial activities of young people, supporting their efforts to enter small businesses, expanding the system of providing access to sources of initial capital and increasing its efficiency.
He also noted that at a recent videoconference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the implementation of the tasks set for ensuring youth employment and meaningful organization of their free time, special emphasis was placed on creating conditions for young people to earn a decent income, ensuring that they can properly use the loans allocated for young people in the "Youth Book", and providing practical assistance in becoming independent entrepreneurs and getting on their feet.
Deputy Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Head of the Department for the Development of Women and Youth Entrepreneurship, H. Mahkamova, expressed her views on the role of commercial banks in managing the mechanism created in Uzbekistan to support youth entrepreneurship, correctly directing the microcredits being spent, predicting the results of business projects, the benefits created for young entrepreneurs, the opportunities and requirements of the loans being allocated, and other aspects that provide youth with employment. During the dialogue, she provided full information on the opportunities provided by the cluster to young people to start and run their own businesses, the benefits for young people running small businesses, and projects that provide them with practical assistance in this regard.
Also speaking at the event were Fazliddin Salomov, a young entrepreneur who has been organizing his activities in the Urgut district in an exemplary manner and providing jobs for many citizens, and the head of the export enterprise "URGUTINI TEXTIL", Mokhigul Khushnazarova, a master's student at the university who has her own business ideas and is making a worthy contribution to our development with her inventions, Sevara Haydarova, a young scientist conducting a number of researches in the field of veterinary sciences, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Sciences, and Mahmudjon Abduvoitov, head of "Sam Eco Cosmetics" LLC, who expressed their opinions on the topic.
