INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION WOAH GS92




    Within the framework of the 92nd General Session of the Assembly of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), a delegation led by Bahrom Norqobilov, Chairman of the Committee, held a bilateral meeting with Sanad Al Harbi, Head of the Livestock Resources Organization under the Ministry of Agriculture of Saudi Arabia.


    During the negotiations, issues of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation, protecting animal health, and further expanding the export of livestock products from Uzbekistan were discussed.


    In particular, the readiness of the Uzbek side to export poultry meat, hatching eggs and table eggs to Saudi Arabia was noted.


    Saudi Arabia proposed sending the necessary veterinary requirements and establishing a permanent dialogue mechanism.
    The meeting also agreed to expand cooperation between scientific research, personnel training, and higher education institutions.

   Within the framework of the 92nd General Session of the Assembly of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), a delegation led by Bahrom Norqobilov, Chairman of the Committee, held a bilateral meeting with a delegation led by Ms. Kaltam Ali, Representative of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

  During the negotiations with the UAE, the high potential of wide-ranging relations between the parties was emphasized.

  The meeting discussed issues of developing cooperation in the fields of veterinary medicine, poultry farming, rabbit farming, camel farming and food safety.

Information was exchanged on the ongoing work on the export of poultry meat and hatching eggs from Uzbekistan to the UAE, including issues related to the coordination of veterinary certificates.
