On May 19 of this year, Associate Professor of the Department of "Biology, Ecology and Medicinal Plants" of the Faculty of Biotechnology M.Kh. Begmatova held an open lecture on the topic "Composition, structure, use of mint and peppermint in folk medicine" for 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Biotechnology 60812100-Technology of cultivation and processing of medicinal plants.
The open lecture was organized on the basis of modern pedagogical approaches and was very interesting and useful for students.
Associate Professor M.Kh. Begmatova covered the topic not only theoretically, but also through practical examples. Detailed information was provided about the chemical composition of mint and peppermint, their healing properties, and their role in folk medicine.
The students, having a deeper understanding of the positive effect of medicinal plants on human health, actively participated in the lesson and asked questions that interested them.
The teacher answered each question with a deep scientific approach, in a simple and understandable way. During the lesson interactive methods were used, and special attention was paid to consolidating students' knowledge.
