ONE STEP TOWARDS ECOLOGICAL SUSTAINABILITY
In accordance with the 25th letter of the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection and Climate Change, on May 15 of this year, the "International Climate Day" has been widely celebrated in our country. This date is one of the important days that calls on humanity to live in harmony with nature and draws attention to the seriousness of climate change.
On the occasion of this important date, a scientific and practical seminar was organized on the initiative of the Department of "Biology, Ecology and Medicinal Plants" of the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.
During the seminar, topical issues related to environmental protection, the vital impact of climate change, and ways to maintain the balance of the biosphere were objectively discussed.
Professors and teachers presented informative reports on the scientific foundations of climate problems, the consequences of global warming, and the importance of environmental awareness in curbing this process.
The seminar was enriched not only with academic knowledge, but also with heartfelt thoughts, life observations, and creative works of students and young people. Videos, environmental campaigns, and stage performances highlighting problematic situations left a deep impression on the participants.
