IV REPUBLICAN EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR "PRIORITY TASKS FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF PERSONNEL TRAINING IN THE FIELDS OF VETERINARY MEDICINE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY"
The IV-Republican educational and methodological seminar "Priority tasks of improving the quality of personnel training in the fields of veterinary medicine and livestock" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies.
The educational and methodological seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock, the Samarkand regional khokimiyat, the head of the Samarkand regional branch of the State Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, directors of the Nukus and Tashkent branches of the university, deans of faculties and professors-teachers, as well as leaders and responsible employees of more than 10 similar higher educational institutions and technical schools training personnel in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, as well as heads and responsible employees of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 12 regional and Tashkent city departments of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, and more than 50 employing enterprises. and heads of organizations participated.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 345 dated September 30, 2024 “On measures to further improve the national qualification system of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the professional standards being developed at the university in the fields of veterinary medicine, veterinary sanitary examination, veterinary pharmacy, zooengineering and animal husbandry, which are planned to be developed in 2025-2026 by the Sectoral Council for the Development of Professional Qualifications in Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, were widely discussed, and future priorities were identified.
