"SANITARY-EPIDEMIC-HYGIENE IN LIVESTOCK" MONTH ANNOUNCED



A joint appeal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Farmers' Council was adopted, and from April 18 to May 18 of this year, the "Sanitary-Epidemic-Hygiene in Livestock" month was declared in our country.

Today, at a meeting organized by the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, with the participation of vice-rectors of the departments, deans, heads of departments, and responsible heads of the Nukus and Tashkent branches of the university, important tasks to be implemented within the framework of this month were discussed.


The meeting, in coordination with the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee, instructed professors and graduate students to organize seminars in the regions, involve senior undergraduate students in providing practical assistance to farms specializing in livestock breeding on the basis of dual education, strictly adhere to veterinary and sanitary procedures on farms, organize disinfectants at entrances, restrict the entry of strangers and vehicles, follow zoohygienic requirements when keeping animals, provide them with high-quality feed and clean water, maintain constant cleanliness in the territory, and carry out explanatory and promotional activities on the need to combat harmful animals. It was emphasized that compliance with hygiene and veterinary rules is the most important factor in maintaining livestock health, and that cleanliness is a guarantee of high productivity, healthy livestock, and stable income, and that all preventive and epizootic measures should be carried out in an organized manner within this month.
