Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" and "On the National Program for Training Personnel", President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 2, 2017 No. PQ-2789 "On measures to further improve the activities of the Academy of Sciences, organization, management and financing of research work" In accordance with the Decree of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the activities of the department of scientific research, innovation and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, Resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, resolutions and orders of the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Collegium of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as provided implementation of the decisions of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Charter and Council of the SamSUVMBU, orders of the rector of the SamSUVMBU, as well as the development of fundamental, practical and innovative research at the university, the implementation of state scientific and technical programs and priority areas in the field of science and technology, coordinates innovative cooperation between higher education, science and industry, organizes research in priority, promising and promising scientific areas.
Drawing up annual and long-term plans for research work at faculties and departments, in scientific laboratories and university departments, providing appropriate practical and methodological support, organizing their implementation, monitoring the preparation of reports based on established procedures.
• Development and implementation of a strategy for admission to doctoral studies (DSc) and basic doctoral studies (PhD), faculties and departments.
• Involvement of university scientists in research on the basis of foreign and state grants, economic contracts, introduction of scientific developments created by departments into the national economy, active participation in the innovation fair.
• Development of plans for international, republican and local scientific conferences and seminars with the participation of faculty and talented students on the basis of the university and ensuring their holding at a high level.
• Coordination of the activities of student scientific circles, young scientists and student societies at faculties and departments, organization of their effective functioning. Coordination of attracting young scientists and talented students to funded scientific work.
• Ensure the active participation of young scientists, talented students and doctoral students in scientific competitions, scholarship competitions and other various scientific competitions and organize their targeted preparation for this process. Preparing talented youth for scientific olympiads, scholarships named after the President and famous personalities and ensuring their active participation.
• Development and implementation of a plan for the publication of monographs, articles and conference proceedings based on the results of scientific research.
• Control the work carried out in the direction of "Higher education, science and development of innovative cooperation" at the departments.
Doctoral Information
Postgraduate education - a type of continuing education aimed at meeting the needs of society in scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification;
Institute of postgraduate education - a system of implementation of postgraduate education in higher educational institutions (hereinafter - HEI) or research institutions (hereinafter - RI) in the form of basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies or self-study;
Basic doctoral studies - a form of postgraduate education in the specialty of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification, organized in HEI or HEI for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (hereinafter - PhD) in-depth study of specialty and the conduct of their scientific research in order to prepare and defend a doctoral thesis, while leaving work, funded by the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Doctoral studies - a form of postgraduate education in the specialty of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification, organized in the HEI or HEI for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Science (Doctor of Science, hereinafter - DSc) in-depth study of specialty and the conduct of scientific research in order to prepare and defend a doctoral thesis, while leaving work, funded from the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Independent study - a form of postgraduate education in the specialty of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification, organized in HEI or RI for applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) in-depth study of specialty and the conduct of scientific research in order to prepare and defend a doctoral thesis without interrupting work;
Doctoral student - a person enrolled in accordance with the established procedure in the basic doctoral or doctoral studies of HEI or RI;
independent co-applicant - a person registered in the prescribed manner in the HEI or RI for independent co-application;
applicant - a person preparing a doctoral thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc).
