An international scientific-practical conference was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies on the topic "Use of innovative technologies in the production and improvement of the quality of livestock products".
- Animal husbandry has a special role in ensuring food security. In this regard, modern approaches to the network serve to provide the population with high-quality and nutritious meat and dairy products. food security is essential to ensure a decent livelihood for people in the future. .therefore, a lot of attention has been paid to this urgent issue recently, - said the rector of the university, professor H. Yunusov, who opened the conference with his introductory speech. - It should be noted that in recent years special attention has been paid to work in this direction in our country. I believe that the issues and proposals discussed at this conference will serve the development of the field of food safety.

Sh. Jabborov, the first deputy chairman of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who participated in the conference through the "Zoom" platform, has widely recognized food safety as one of the most urgent issues facing the world community in the coming yearsopened, which requires further development of the industry by applying new innovative trends and technologies, as well as scientific achievements.

also, as a result of the opportunities created by our state, in 2023, 2,237 projects worth 7.4 trillion soums were implemented for the development of livestock and its industries, and more than 170,000 new permanent and seasonal jobs were created within the projects135,000 cattle, 228,000 sheep and goats were brought from abroad, 240 mln. He mentioned that funds with the participation of international financial institutions were attracted and 565 new livestock enterprises were established, bringing the total number to 18,971.
